Pastor Darlene A. Body is originally from Texas but received her education in the Minneapolis school system and attended the College of Saint Teresa in Rochester, Minnesota. In 2001, she was ordained and installed as the Pastor of the One Accord Community Church by her late husband, Bishop T. A. Body, Sr., Ph.D.

Pastor Body's mission as a leader is to strengthen the Body of Christ through the Word of God. She is dedicated to empowering and educating women in ministry. Additionally, she strives to cultivate the ministry of young people. Pastor Body has achieved great success in these areas through her work as a pastor, speaker, and counselor. She also serves as the Director of the Women's Ministry for the Cosmopolitan Fellowship of Churches under the leadership of Dr. Michael A. Stevens. Pastor Body has extensive experience in speaking, teaching, and preaching, including leading conferences, workshops, and seminars.

When she is not preaching an awe-inspiring message or teaching a fact-filled Bible Study, she is praying and asking God for even more innovative ways to impact the church and the community. It is safe to say that Pastor Body loves people, but none move her heart like her five living children, 32 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Although she’s suffered much loss, Pastor Darlene Body is the living embodiment of 1 Corinthians 3:9a—“For we laborers together with God…” As she continues to move through the vicissitudes of life, she lives this mantra given by the late Bishop Derrick Hutchins, “I’m looking up and moving forward.”
